KNOWLEDGE SHARING WORKSHOP DRIVES NEW INSIGHTS FOR PMAY
NAGPUR, 7 DECEMBER 2025
A highly impactful Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 (Urban) was successfully organised today at Highland Glory Celebrations & Events, Nagpur. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the enhanced benefits, streamlined processes, and innovative reforms introduced under PMAY 2.0(U) to accelerate sustainable and affordable housing development across Maharashtra.

The event featured a distinguished panel of keynote speakers including Shri Vipin Itankar (IAS), Collector, Nagpur; Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari (IAS), Municipal Commissioner, Nagpur; Shri Ajit Kawade, Mission Director & Deputy Secretary, Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra; Dr. Vijay Ingole, CEO, MHADA; and Shri Ravindra N. Khetale, Under Secretary, Housing Department, Government of Maharashtra. Their guidance, insights, and inspiring inputs offered valuable perspectives on the implementation, opportunities, and benefits of PMAY 2.0 (Urban), enabling stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the scheme’s enhanced features. 400+ CLTCs (City Level Technical Cell) and COs (Chief Officer) attended this workshop along with many Builders and Developers from the respective district and Nagpur city area.

The session highlighted key benefits under PMAY 2.0 (Urban) such as:
• Up to 3.0 FSI benefit
• ₹1,000 stamp duty for beneficiaries
• ₹2.5 lakh subsidy for eligible citizens & many more
The workshop was supported by leading industry bodies including CREDAI Nagpur Metro, NAREDCO Vidarbha, Institute of Indian Interior Designers (Nagpur Chapter), NVCC, and other associations. Their participation strengthened the dialogue among government authorities, developers, architects, and industry stakeholders, ensuring a unified approach to promoting sustainable urban development.
Participants appreciated the informative sessions, detailed clarifications, and practical guidance provided by the experts. The event served as a powerful collaborative platform for developers, architects, industry associations, and government officials, strengthening partnerships and promoting innovation within the housing ecosystem.
The workshop was jointly organised by Grant Thornton Bharat LLP and Swastik Infratech, Nagpur, under the leadership of Mr. Kartik Balakrishnan and Mr. Vishal Agrawal. The event witnessed excellent participation from housing sector stakeholders, making it highly engaging, insightful, and impactful.
This successful initiative is expected to significantly boost the pace of sustainable and affordable housing development in Maharashtra, further supporting the state’s vision of inclusive, resilient, and future – ready urban growth.
